The single most common question a compliance team asks itself is also the most tedious to answer: what is closing, and when. There is no central register. Every regulator publishes its own consultations on its own page in its own format, and the only way to hold the full picture is to visit all of them on a schedule nobody has time for.
We already do that visiting, because it is what the product is. So we have made the answer public: every regulatory deadline we can stand behind, free, with no sign-in.
What is on it
- Consultation closing dates, effective dates and transition ends for the next twelve months.
- Filterable by jurisdiction, industry and topic, with a real URL per view so a filtered list can be sent to a colleague.
- An iCalendar feed, so the dates arrive in Outlook rather than in a website you have to remember to open.
- Every row links to the publishing body’s own page. We are where it was found, not where it was published.
What is deliberately not on it
A date only appears once a person here has reviewed the source it came from and signed it off, the document was fetched by us rather than reconstructed, and the page it came from has an address anybody can open. A date we cannot stand behind is left off rather than published with a caveat.
That makes the list shorter than it could be. We think a deadline tracker that is sometimes wrong is worse than one that is incomplete and says so, because the failure modes are not symmetrical: a missing date costs you a search, and a wrong date costs you the thing the date was for.
It also means the list grows as we review more sources rather than as we crawl more of them. Crawling is the easy half. If you want a sense of how much time the dates on it typically leave you, we measured that too: the median consultation window is 38 days.
